3 Bedtime Hero Products

In the last few years, I've finally been reaching that stage where I've tried out enough products to know what's working for me, and what isn't. Specifically, I'm finding staples for my make-up bag and for my skincare routine. In today's post, I thought I'd share a few of the products I use before bed to keep me in tip-top condition for the morning.

I've gone on and on about this freaking stuff because it is amazing, OK? From recent memory, I know I spoke about Decleor's miracle product in my YouTube video about dealing with breakouts, and my 4 Products for Kissable Lips blog post. This is a multi-purpose product, used for clearing up scarring and helping to keep my pout in good condition, but it has even more uses. I often suffer dry lips, to the point that it's painful, and I'm also prone to having dry corners of my mouth, so this bottle of goodness, although not cheap, is an investment that's worth every penny. A little goes a long way and you can be certain that this bottle will last you an age. Before bed, I slather this over any dark spots from blemishes, and over the outside of my mouth and the corners, to make sure my lips are ready for a liquid lipstick application the next day.

This is the most recent 'hero' product that I've discovered. It's a blemish blasting kind of gel that makes the spot sting a bit upon application, but also immediately makes it go away. I put this on any spots - be it white heads that I've popped or spots that are more substantial - before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, all that's left is a small scab, if anything is left at all. It's an amazing product that I'm glad I picked up, as so far it's making my skin extra manageable, even when I'm hormonal.

I've been using this stuff for years now, and although it won't negate the need for a good foot soak and scrub every so often, I find this works as a bit of a 'quick fix' to keep your feet pretty nice in a hurry. I'm prone to hard skin, especially on the balls of my feet, and although I do scrub them when I can, I find this foot mask helps my toesies to look alright (bcos, do feet ever really look good?) by helping to smooth and repair the soles of my feet. All you need to do is load some on, and then pop on some socks, allowing the product to sink in while you sleep. I haven't been using this as often as I should be recently because it's been too warm to think of sleeping in socks, but the results are worth it.

What are your holy grail products for your pre-bedtime routine?
