Yup, I know, berries for these colder months is as groundbreaking as pastels for spring, but, fuck it. I want to share with you today some fab drugstore products in those berry tones we know and love so much. I'm a huge fan of berry lips, and even bigger fan of berry eyes. Although berry eye products in the drugstore are much harder to come by, I included a few firm favourites I've owned for a while now.

VINTAGE ROMANCE | SLEEK I-DIVINE EYESHADOW PALETTE

In my opinion, the Vintage Romance palette is the epitome of A/W eyeshadows. It contains golds, bronzes, plums and berries - every shade you could ever want for the colder months! The berry shades have been my favourites for quite some time now, I think they look beautiful on all sorts of eye colours (I'm particularly fond of them with my own blue eyes and a pop of black liner on the waterline), and, being by Sleek, the eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented and long-wearing with a good primer on underneath. They blend well with each other, too, and there's so many looks you could choose to go for with this palette. Whether it's a berry smoky eye or just a pop of berry tone, this gem has you covered.

PEONY | MUA SINGLE EYESHADOW

I'm a huge fan of MUA's single eyeshadows, they really are fantastic, especially for a mere £1! This shade, Peony, is a stunning berry pink with a slight duo-chrome finish to it. It looks very mutli-dimensional so it's a real eye catcher, especially on the lids. I add a bit of MAC Fix+ to my brush before dipping into this, and the colour pay off looks stunning.

METALLIC POMEGRANATE | MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO

This is quite similar to Peony, but slightly less pink, and with gold flecks throughout. I've adored Maybelline's Color Tattoos from the get go, as whether you set them or not they still remain intact and in place throughout the day, no matter how much you sweat or move. They're fab for a quick wash of colour or for a bold base, and Metallic Pomegranate is no exception. It's a beautiful, reddish berry colour with some gold sparkle (it's less noticeable when worn, for sure), and it makes the perfect base for the eyeshadows mentioned above. It looks amazing with a nude lip or a dark one - whatever takes your fancy. Plus, it lasts and lasts and lasts.

171 | BARRY M SATIN LIP PAINT

Probably the most subtle and natural of the lot, this Barry M Satin Lipstick glides on like a dream and is incredibly pigmented. If you're not a fan of the regular or matte line and find them to be too drying, you'll prefer this satin finish collection as they leave a satin shine and don't set. This said, I still find they can be a tad drying as the day goes on so it might be worth sticking a lip balm on underneath. This neutral berry tone just screams A/W to me, and is by far the easiest to pull of. Plus, with it being a regular lipstick with a satin finish, you don't need patience and precision to apply - just a swipe or two and you're good to go. Don't expect this to hold up whilst you eat though!

CRUSH | REVLON KISSABLE BALM STAIN

This one has been in my collection for the longest time. Whilst the balm stains can dry out my lips a little in the heat (something I learned towards the end of last year when I put one on for work and ended up having to apply a ton of balm as we work without air con!) they're great for winter when I'm in the cold as these last all day, every day. You don't have to worry much about topping these up as the pigment really sticks to the lips and you'll find yourself with a strong colour on your lips at the end of the day, no matter how much you eat and drink. This plummy berry applies darker ontot the lips than it appears in the swatch, so don't be fooled!

TRANSYLVANIA | NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM

I've owned NYX SMLCs for the longest time, probably since I was about 17-18 and first discovered Samantha Maria, formerly known as Beautycrush on YouTube, but I really wasn't all that keen on them. It wasn't until last year that I started to really enjoy the formula, and whilst I don't think they blow me away, I think they make a pleasant, comfortable and matte lip for everyday wear - plus the colours they launched in 2016 are fantastic! There's no longer just nudes and pinks, but some purple and blue tones too which I really enjoy. I find I don't have to be too precise with these either and it's quite a bit easier than most matte drying liquid lipsticks to sharpen up the lip line a bit. Transylvannia is deep and dark, and in my eyes, the perfect A/W berry. This is the vampiest and most gothic of the lot, but I find it applies more berry than I've seen on most people's swatches. It's probably best hunting down a matching lip liner as the colour can come off as being a little patchy/streaky if you're not patient enough like me to apply in layers.

REBEL | MAKEUP REVOLUTION SALVATION VELVET LIP LACQUER

This is one of the first from the MUR Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer line that I bought, and it's the one I come back to the most no matter what. I personally have always found this formula to be a little more drying than MUA's Luxe line (although I haven't worn MUA's reformulated versions enough to comment on them) but for some reason these don't hang around as long as many of my other favourite liquid lipsticks. Even after eating something like a donut, I find most of the product has some away from my lips other than the lip line. But, that said, the colour is too beautiful to pass up, so if you don't mind that you're going to have to top it up, then you'll love this one.

??? | PRIMARK VELVET MATTE LIPSTICK CRAYON

I'm really sorry but there doesn't seem to be a shade name on this product! That's the worst thing about Primark beauty -  I don't have shade names on 96% of my products. I adore these Matte Lipstick Crayons though and I'm glad they're always adding new shades. The darker ones stick around incredibly well, and I think this deep vampy reddish berry shade is the ultimate in A/W chic. I find these aren't too drying either, not as much as you'd expect for a £2 matte lip product anyway, and they're all beautifully pigmented. If you're scared of vampy dark shades, it might be worth trying these out cos if you don't like them then you've only wasted £2 rather than nearly a tenner.

What are your favourite products for a berry make-up look?
