eylure lashes false lashes website uk review

For me, false eyelashes are like liquid eyeliner. I love them, but they are so frustrating. Some days I can apply them in one go, and some days it can take me three or four tries to get right. It's time consuming, but the end result is always worth it with falsies (not so much with eyeliner!). I never thought I'd ever wear false lashes, but my eyes feel near enough naked when I'm talking to the camera without my liner and falsies combo. In the past year I've grown more confident in applying them, and I've grown to have a real love for them.

I started off by dabbling in random eBay lashes from China that are mega cheap, although not the best quality, but soon I started buying properly branded lashes and I realised what I was missing out with. I bought my first pair of the cult favourite Ardell Demi Wispies last year from and learned how much easier they were to apply, and how beautiful they looked. Not quite natural, but not too heavy and OTT - my perfect combination.

So, when the lovely folks at asked me if they could send me a few pairs of lashes to review, I jumped at the chance - it's so cool to be able to work with a website that I not only hold dear to me for truly introducing me to great quality false lashes, but also that I believe in. I've never had any issues in terms of customer service, or any parcel mishaps etc, and the best part is how huge a range is available. There's something for everyone in the selection of false lashes here, and, of course, there's also tools to help you get the job done like a pro and even a section of brow products to make sure your lashes are framed in the best way possible.

I already own several pairs of Ardell and Red Cherry lashes, so I decided to opt for Eylure lashes for the first time in my life! Eylure seem to be one of the most well-known brands, and a brand that everyone seems to start off with. Whilst I've eyed up their lashes before (I'm particularly fond of the look of most of the Fleur DeForce line), I've always just stuck to what I know. Not this time though - this time I chose the styles Texture Lashes 159 (retailing at £4.95) and Exaggerate Lashes 141 (£5.45) - the latter being a huge best-seller according to the site.

The quality of these is just as good as Ardell and Cherry Lashes, which I'm glad about given that they are a little more expensive. They're incredibly affordable even still in the grand scheme of things, and they also come with their own mini tube of glue which is pretty awesome! I already have a tube of glue - I use Revlon's Precision Lash Glue, also available on - but it's always handy to have spares! It's also worth noting one of my favourite features of the website - you get free first class postage and there's no minimum spend! I'm a sucker for free postage, and the fact that you get it even if you're only spending a fiver is brilliant!

So far I haven't had the chance to try out my Exaggerate Lashes, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to wear them to my Christmas night out with my work colleagues and friends. The Texture Lashes are pretty awesome on, they remind me a little of Ardell's Demi Wispies but they're a bit chunkier and, well, more textured and longer. They look beautiful on and there are no real hiccups when I applied them - I actually got these on well in the first go! They're really full and volumising, not to mention they're lightweight and I don't feel them sitting there on my lashes. I also appreciate the thinness of the band as it always makes them blend better with my natural lashes! As long as you clean these off after, they're reusable - I use micellar water and a cotton bud to wipe eyeliner and glue from the lash band.

So far I haven't been able to get photos with them on as I've worn them in the evening and I don't have any good lighting right now to take photos in, but keep an eye on my Instagram! :)

Even if the lashes I've shown aren't to your taste, have heaps of styles available, all with their free first class postage, so make sure you have a look if you are interested in trying some new falsies out!
