Barry M have long since been praised for their line of nail polishes, ever expanding with new formulas and new shades. I had seen and heard snippets about the Speedy Quick Dry range before trying it, and I knew that the formula sounded like something I would enjoy as it seemed suited to someone like me who is too impatient to wait out the entire drying time of their nail varnish, thus resulting in smudges.

I spotted these in Superdrug and chose what appears to me to be one of the most unique shades of the line, and something that is unlike anything else I already have in my collection of nail polishes, to quick start what would soon become a consantly growing collection of this Quick Dry line. The shade Eat My Dust is a pale blue with a slight grey-tone to it, and is opaque in just a mere two coats. The wide brush means that coating your whole nail in one swipe just got a whole lot easier - why isn't this standard for ALL nail varnishes?!

As promised, the formula for this line delivers an incredibly fast drying time that lasts meere seconds, meaning those of you who are as impatient as me, can get on with your day with minimal fuss. The wear time isn't the most impressive of Barry M lines - I can usually get about five days of good wear from these before I feel it's time to tidy up the chipping - but given how fast they are to reapply and dry, I don't really grudge them the staying power. I suppose we can't have it all, can we?!

This inital line consists of ten pastel toned shades, so they are perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months. Each bottle retails at £3.99 in the typical purse-friendly style of Barry M. I can't see what new shades are released in this line, but until then, you can view the current range here.
